How The Tab S8 can beat the iPad Pt. 1

Image
Greetings, this is TheTechBoy with one way that the Tab S8 can beat the iPad.  Virtualization/Microsoft Support Samsung has Dex and Apple has iPad OS. Samsung needs to use Dex to beat iPads by using their partnership with Microsoft. They can use their partnership to get software that can boot Windows (and another OS) on their tablets.       Think of the possibilities! Samsung's main advantage over Apple would be having a full desktop OS, and the tablets could finally replace your laptop. Unfortunately, this could jeopardize Microsoft's Surface tablets and Windows 365. Ikling Usb-c multi-port Adapter Review  VirtualBox / Vmware      A more plausible partnership could be VirtualBox or Vmware selling subscriptions of their software for an Android or Samsung-only version of their software. This would benefit Samsung as it would create a competitive advantage over other tablet makers and the virtualization companies would get extra exposure. This...

Are Smartwatches the Future?

Image
Greetings, this is TheTechBoy with an article on Smartwatches. Are smartphones going away soon, and will smartwatches take their place?  Let us look at some data and surmise a logical assumption based on the data.     Smartphone Popularity       Smartphones (as we know them) became ubiquitous around 2012 or 2013. Before then, around the 1990s to about 2011 flip phones or internet connected flip phones were popular. For about fifteen years flip phones were popular and smartphones have only been popular for about eight or nine years. Even if smartphones cease to be popular after 15 years since their popularity in 2012, they will still be extant such as the flip phones and landlines before them.  Smartphone Size      The size of a smartphone has grown to a point where almost every smartphone is at least six inches. Smartphones under six inches have not been very successful; according to counterpointresearch.com, the iPhone 1...

Windows 11 Released

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with some news.      Windows 11 has been released and it is a minor update over Windows 10. New things include Teams and the taskbar front and center. Live Tiles have been done away. Windows 11 Home needs a Microsoft account and Wi-Fi to set up, similar to a Chromebook needing a Google account and Wi-Fi to set up. In all, this is not a major update.      Will Windows 11 continue the tradition of every other Windows version being bad? Or will it be very successful like Windows 7? Windows 7 was only a small upgrade over the much-hated Vista. We will see.        Remember, Windows 10 is still a good and secure operating system. Not everybody should update from Windows 10 to Windows 11.        However, if you are running Windows 7 or and version below that, even Windows XP, we strongly recommend you to update your computer to Windows 10 now. If your hardware cannot support it, buy a n...
