Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article.  Source Samsung Newsroom      Samsung is not bringing the newest incarnations of its popular 'A' series A35 and A55 to the USA. Samsung says that the S23 FE and the S23 fill in the gap left by the A55 series but what Samsung models would fill in the gap felt by the A35.       Per GSM Arena, has a 50 MP main camera, up to 8GB or RAM and 265 GB of storage, a 5000 mAh battery, and the Exynos 1380 chip. Depending on the configuration, this phone would retail for about 367 to about 488 USD.  So what Samsung phone would fit this bracket? A54:     The Galaxy A54 retails for 181 to 344 USD   on Amazon. It has the same storage configuration as the A55 series, however, it has a lower RAM base options (4 and 8GB instead of 6 to 8GB). The A54  also uses the same chipset with a higher-resolution ultrawide camera.  It also will get one less update than the A35. Reasons to buy: ...

One Ui 6.0 Has A Huge New Feature!!

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article.       One UI 6.0 has been released on my Galaxy S22 Plus and I have been playing around with it and stumbled upon this interesting feature.  You Click This Button      One UI 6.0 now has the feature to set a date and time limit on a per-device basis. It also allows you to pause the sharing of data with a device. This feature can be accessed by holding the mobile hotspot button to access the setting. Next, click the 0.00 MB button and then you can set the data limit and type in how many MB of data you would like to share.      If you want to set a time or data limit on an individual device. press the settings cog on the device screen and set the time and data limit. This is a very important feature as this can prevent people from overusing your data. In future articles, we will attempt to hack this feature, God Bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!

4 Things I Hate ABout The S22 Plus

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a report on the S22 Plus. What I Want On the S23 Shutter Lag     The shutter lag of the S22 Plus needs to be fixed. It is slow and can cause you to miss important moments. The camera application is also slow to open sometimes and it needs to be faster. Get Better Samsung!!! Battery Size and Optimization     The 4,500 mAh battery should be a good size or the S22 Plus, but due to the Snapdragon processor in the phone, it honestly gets ok battery life. The S23 series should get better battery life because it has a more efficient chip and bigger batteries, so that is something I am excited about.     No MicroSD Card Slot     A MicroSD card slot would be a nice addition. The phone has 128 GB of storage but a Micro SD card slot would make the phone more versatile and would let you expand storage cheaply. No Headphone Jack     This phone could use a headphone jack. This would allow me to add wired headphones...

5 Things I want to see in the S23 Plus.

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with what I want to see in the S23 Plus.  I wrote an S22 Plus Review here.  Screen:     Samsung put a 1080p display in the S22. This is okay until you compare it to the OnePlus 7 Pro and the LG V40 phones -- both launched in 2019. Those phones have 1440p displays, and when I tested them against the S22 Plus they looked brighter. Also, reintroduce the screen settings menu to the S22 plus. Also please add support for an SPen digitizer.   Yes I know this is from the A71 5G Battery:      The battery life on the S22 Plus is ok. It could be better. Just put a 5,0000 mAh cell in it, and a more efficient chip in the phone, and the battery life should be better. I want to see 7 hours of screen on time.  Storage:     Bring back the MicroSD card slot.  If you don't want to do that, make the base storage model at least 256 GB of storage. No 128 GB of storage, this I not good enough anymore, especially f...

I got this S22 Plus as an upgrade from T-Mobile. I got the device on Android 12, updated it to Android 13, and November to December security update. The Samsung S22 Plus is Samsung's latest 2022 flagship. It is in the middle of the S22 and the S22 Ultra. There is a 6.6-inch, variable 120 HZ OLED screen, a three times optical zoom camera, and a 4,500 mAh battery.  Podcast:

S22 Plus First Impressions

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with my S22 Plus first impressions. This was published after a day with the S22 plus.   I recently upgraded my A71 5G to the S22 Plus. After some software updates, the phone is now on the November security patch, and One UI with Android 13.   Source Google.com Fair Use          Overview:  The haptics of the S22 plus are more subtle and refined than my A71 5G. The bezels are slimmer, and it has quality-of-life improvements such as wireless charging four years of OS upgrades, and five years of security patches. This means the phone should last me until Android 16 which should arrive in 2025. The cameras seem decent. There is a three-times telephoto zoom and portrait, pro, and 8K video modes. Update:  The front camera is not that good. Samsung Dex is also on here. I briefly tested it on a PC and a TV, it was a bit laggy but a proper monitor should do better. I will not discuss the battery life here because as TechO...
