Hohem iSteady X Gimbal Will not Connect to Phone

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a particular tutorial.      I recently bought a Hohem iSteady X Gimbal and tried to connect it to my phone. The device would not stay connected to my phone, and I was so frustrated.   What is a Gimbal:   A gimbal is a camera stabilizer. The one I bought was for my S22 Plus. It would use the cameras on the back of the phone instead of an action camera, or a professional video /DSLR/mirrorless camera. Gimbals are used for smooth recording and unique artistic shots. I know it is a Nokia      What I Tried:       I tried turning Bluetooth on and off, restarting my phone, and pushing what looked like the reset button on the side of the device. I also reinstalled the application several times and plugged the gimbal back in to charge it. I was so frustrated. Then I figured out the solution. Solution: The gimbal is attempting to balance the phone with the motors. So the solution is to make t...

Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a This Week In TheTechBoy.  YouTube Tech Rewind TheTechBoy did a tech rewind with some of the best tech YouTube channels. It is linked here.  S22 Plus First Impression         Overview : The haptics of the S22 plus are more subtle and refined than my A71 5G. The bezels are slimmer, and it has quality-of-life improvements such as wireless charging four years of OS upgrades, and five years of security patches. This means the phone should last me until Android 16 which should arrive in 2025. The cameras seem decent. There is a three-times telephoto zoom and portrait, pro, and 8K video modes. Update: The front camera is not that good. Samsung Dex is also on here. I briefly tested it on a PC and a TV, it was a bit laggy but a proper monitor should do better. I will not discuss the battery life here because as TechOdyssey says, the phone has to learn usage patterns.   How do Some Websites Make Comparison Images with Slider...

How do Some Websites Make Comparison Images with sliders Side By Side?

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a particular tutorial. Have you ever been reading a technology review, and seen a camera comparison and there was an image slider on the site? Some websites do that by using a website called JuxtaposeJS. A great feature of this website is that it is easy to use, and does not require an account.  Step 1: Upload      Upload your images to an image hosting service. Make sure the share settings are correct. Alternatively, you can upload them to Blogspot, and copy the image URL. Then paste the image URLs into JuxtaposeJS . The site is linked here. If you make it a GIF, you will not get a slider as it will slide automatically. If you decide to make a GIF, then you will get to download the GIF and not have to embed code.   Step 2:  Edit     Add image labels, and image credits in the respective text boxes. You can also change the slider position, choose to show the credits, and make the slider vertic...

The Headphones I Hate to Hate Sony WI-C310: Great Features One Flaw

Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a review of the Sony WI-C310.       I like these features. They are my first Bluetooth headphones and I like the battery life, USB-C connection, and battery life. But what is the fatal flaw of the device? It is unfortunately the design. When I am active the way the headphones are designed caused the headphones to flail around, and fall out of my ears. However, this pitfall gives it the advantages I appreciate such as the long battery life. The device has a couple sound files saved on the device. The files tell you when it is in pairing mode, and when it is near certain percentages (and about to die). Just like the Vont Headset the percentages are not completely accurate.   Source: Amazon Fair Use      Because of the cabled design, there is an entire battery hanging off of it. This allows Sony to advertise 15hr battery life. The battery life is really good. I used it for a couple of days without charging, and whe...

Cosmo Communicator Short Review (Written on Cosmo) Thanks to Cosmo for giving me the device.

Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a review of the Cosmo, written on the Cosmo. This review was edited on a PC. The Cosmo communicator is an interesting Android device. It features a physical keyboard, a 24 MP camera, and can dual boot into Gnu/Linux .    Overview         This phone is a cellphone first and foremost. The phone's call quality is decent in speaker mode, yet when the calls are not in speaker mode the voices sound tiny. Web browsing is fine, but due to the device's landscape orientation, some pages look better in desktop mode. The clamshell's GPS capabilities are decent but receive a better signal outside. The cellphone runs Android 9 and includes a suite of Planet applications. The phone has an external screen for making calls, and reading emails and texts. It also has a useful audio recorder. The battery life is not that good, and sometimes the phone randomly restarts. The phone lacks basic Android features such as folders and system-wide s...

Vont Smart Plug Review

Hello, This is TheTechBoy with a review on Vont Smart plugs. The Vont Smart Plugs were sent to me to review by Vont, and they retail for twenty dollars on Amazon.com. The plugs received one firmware update during the duration of the testing. The plugs are white and have a button on the left side that allows you to cut the power flow from the plug. Vont Plugs What is a Smart Plug? A smart plug is a plug you plug into a wall. It allows you to turn nonsmart home electric devices into smart devices. You can enable voice control and automatons with a smart speaker and can turn them on and off with a mobile application. Some automatons can also be done in third-party applications such as IFTTT. What if Yahoo bought Google in 2002?

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article. Today I will be asking a good question. What if Yahoo bought Google in 2002? In 2002, Yahoo offered Google Three Billion USD to acquire the company. Google said no and held out for Five Billion USD. The deal fell through . As some of you may know, Google is dominant in advertisements, search, mobile, and has led research in sectors such as AI and driverless cars. Meanwhile, Yahoo tried to make a phone with Google's Android and failed. So what if Yahoo bought Google in 2002? Would Yahoo own Android? Would Windows Mobile be king?  Would YouTube be popular? Let's Investigate.  In 1998, Google wanted to sell the Page Rank system to Yahoo. This was better than the system that Yahoo used at the time. However, Yahoo did not want to send people away from its sites and services. This contrasted with the way Google’s Page Rank sent users to the most relevant website.  In 2002 Yahoo wanted to buy Google but did n...
