Galaxy Enhance X

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article.       Samsung released a new application called Galaxy Enhance X. It is supposed to be available for in the Galaxy store for the S23 and S22 models but it is not. I was able to download an APK and it worked. Let's talk about the new features that they added to the app.      Aside from the basic features such as brightening, HDR, and sharpening, it can also remove shadows and reflections. Some of these features have migrated to the Gallery application and one of the features missing is an eraser function.       Depending on the photo you import it can detect a face and also do some edits. In all the editor is ok but could be better. Tell me your thoughts in the comments below. God Bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!!

MS Edge Experience Live Blog

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a MS Edge Experience Live Blog      Im switching to Edge for a week. Chrome was acting slowly and I decided to switch to Edge. I have imported my passwords and browsing data. However, I have not switched from Google to Bing though I may use Bing Chat. I will be liveblogging my experiences.      The browser  shows the sidebar just like Sidekick, however, it is less laggy but still had some lag in some instances!! I also just noticed that you can mute the tab by clicking the icon to mute.  IT is still laggy but I detected a virus do it got a bit less laggy. The YouTube Picture in Picture mode is nice.       I miss the Chrome Download at the bottom. This makes dragging and dropping downloads so much easier.  I have noticed that there is a search tabs bar like in Chrome but it is in another place. usechatgpt init success

Inside the Matt Walsh Hack

Image
Updated April 22 2023:   Hello, this is TheTechBoy with  Inside the Matt Walsh Hack.  Photo by Pixabay: https://www.pexels.com/photo/security-logo-60504/   This week, YouTuber Matt Walsh Twitter got hacked. However, according to a Daily Wire report his email was hacked as well.     The attacker allegedly used a Sim Swapping attack per Ben Shapiro which allowed the hackers to bypass the 2-factor authentication or reset the password by getting the code sent to Mr. Walsh's phone.    I theorized that there was an insider that helped with the hack, and that appears to be true. This means that they could have had Mr. Walsh's personal information or access to his iPhone (to get the SIM).   A SIM swapping attack is an attack where someone switched a SIM into another phone to get any new texts sent to the attacker. Or the attack could be carried off by calling the cellphone company and trucking them into swapping your SIM to another device. ...

Nobody Cares, Samsung

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a rant.      Per Samsung Newsroom, "Samsung and JADEN Launch Samsung Galaxy x MSFTSrep Eco-conscious Accessories Collection for Earth Day." This is a new line of accessories for Samsung's Z and S flagship devices and Galaxy Watch devices.      According to Samsung, " MSFTSrep is more than just a clothing company. It aims to spark movement around the love of fashion and individuality, social equality and protecting the environment – a concept that unites so many." Ok Newsflash Samsung!!! NOBODY AT ALL IN ALL OF HUMAN HISTORY CARES!!     Let's break down the comment that Samsung made. Samsung is claiming that social equality and environmentalism unite people. Aside from the obvious fact that these things do not unite people and are very divisive. Nobody cares.        Normal people when they shop for devices don't care about 'social scores,' carbon emissions, ESG, etc. when they shop!! They don't car...

3 Bing Chat Tips in Swiftkey and Should You Use It?

Image
1. Have It Change Your Message To Another Tone.     First, click the B button and click the Tone Icon. Then type something. I typed the phrase, "I love You," and after some processing, it gave me a Professional response, a casual response, a polite response, and a social media option (along with an emoticon/octothorpe). If you don't like the responses you can type it in again. After finding an option click the accept key. This will put it in the search bar/chat app.   2. Search     Have you ever been reading a text/email/chat and needed more information, bing search has you covered. You can look up things on Bing. Swiping to the end, and clicking the "see more results" will open the Bing search engine.  3. Chat     Chatting with Bing AI is easy from Swiftkey. You can then ask it something and get an AI response with citations. You can click the copy button to copy and paste the response.          Should you ...

What is Beef and why is it Dangerous PT 1

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a cybersecurity article.       Beef xss is a cybersecurity tool built into Kali Linux. It has modules that all it to control a browser all from a link. Let's get into this software.       This software is easy to download if you do not have it. If you are in the terminal launch the program and it will open in your browser (here are the instructions ). Anyway, the software gives you a link to either embed in a website that you have (you would need to modify it so get to the outside internet and not the LAN), or to email to somebody.     I have used these tools before and the tools that still work are the fake phishing tool that  phishes  your Gmail account. The page does not look legitimate but someone not paying attention could fall for this link sent to them in an email or a QR code. The attacker using this tool will get the password sent to them.     One of the other 'benefits' of this...

What Year Did FRC Switch To WiFi Controls: History of FRC Control

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article.       FRC is a robotics competition  (check out my video), where people are controlling self-made robots in a game that is chosen by FIRST. The methods of controlling the robots have changed over the years, from wired controllers at the first competition to 2.4 GHz WiFi control.   1992:     The first FRC competition was in 1992, and robots were controlled via a wire. The robots battled it out in a cornfield.  Notice The Wires Source      According to Wikipedia, the competition switched to a wireless control system in 1993. This system worked by a, "8 position joystick and a Termiflex keypad controller," per Wikipedia. According to the 1993 Game manual, the machines were the property of FIRST after the season was over. Also, the machines had to be shipped to the competition spot via USPS.    In the 1995 competition, the robots were controlled by a 'custom' remote c...

What is The Galaxy Book3 Ultra?

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article. UPDATED APRIL 5th 2023      Samsung showcased the Galaxy Book3 Ultra at its Unpacked Event. The Galaxy Book Ultra is a high-end laptop. Here is what we know about the device.  OS:      The device ships with Windows 11 , but probably can run Linux as well. Also, Windows 11 supports WSL (Windows Subsystem on Linux) which will allow you to get a terminal on the device.       Screen:     The laptop has a 16-inch (aspect ratio 16:10) screen. The screen has 400 nits of brightness and an adaptive 120 HZ screen. This means that the screen will refresh 48 times a second when something is static. If you are scrolling the screen will refresh 120 times a second. This is good for battery life. The screen is a 3K (2880 x 1800) screen. This means that it will be high definition and you will not see any pixels on the screen. The device is not touchscreen,  Chip/GPU:     The ...

Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article.  At 4:40 P.M I noticed that Twitter was showing the dogecoin image as its logo.       According to a NoSoupForKnowles pool, 38.5% of users saw the logo. (468 users at the time of checking the poll). I did a quick Twitter search and users were reporting seeing the logo. Here is a thread. Do you see Twitter bird logo or Doge? — No Soup for Knowles (@nosoup4knowles) April 3, 2023       BREAKING: It appears as if @ElonMusk has replaced the Twitter logo with an image of Doge. pic.twitter.com/IfjO4WhDmG — ALX 🇺🇸 (@alx) April 3, 2023   The Doge Meme has mysteriously replaced the Twitter logo on the profile and timeline of all users on Twitter Web. pic.twitter.com/ck4udLNDDP — Pop Base (@PopBase) April 3, 2023      Apparently, it is people on Twitter web seeing this.
