OneUi 6.0 Fixed and Broke Secure Folder

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special review.      Fans of the website may know that a while back, TheTechBoy Media reported that Chrome in Secure Folder was not working. @googlechrome  Your app keeps opening non secure folder chrome when I open it in Samsung Secure Folder.  @SamMobiles   @samsung — TheTechBoy ✝️ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ #TEAM13 πŸ“± (@THETECHBOYorg)  August 10, 2023     Thankfully, the OneUi bug that affected this was fixed. I am also happy to report that YouTube PiP is working as well. However, hiding Secure Folder does not work as well as it used to. In One Ui 5.1, I could hide Secure Folder and access it via the Settings application. Then I would touch the ‘apps’ button and open applications that way.      This method does not work anymore and I cannot open applications from the Settings application. This forces me to not hide Secure Folder when applications are in use. However, it also allows me to use Secure Folder’s new ve...

WOW PowerUp Plane Collects Logs Like A Real Plane!!:Inside The PowerUp's Black Box

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special report.       I was playing with the files application on my phone and I saw these log files in the Google My Files Application. The log files are in text, sqlite3 and CSV format and they show the date of flight, how long the flight was, and the battery percentage of the drone.      I think it is really interesting to see this. Experienced pilots could use this information to improve their flights and techies like me can just look at the data and have fun. This is how you access it.       Download the Google Files application. Next search for logs in the documents folder.   Usually, these logs will be under the folder of the date of flight. I flew on October 7th some my folder name is 2023-10 -07-09-20-17. The log is in .txt and .csv format. There are more logs with plenty of information im sure yu could decode.  Have fun God Bless and Tech Talk To You Later...

Review Of The Panda PAU0D

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a review of the Panda PAU0D. Panda Wireless sent this to me for review. I will be reviewing this based on data collected when using it on my Kali Linux bootable USB. Source Amazon:       The box comes with a manual, drivers on a CD, a USB extender, and an antenna. The antenna is sturdy but non-descript. This antenna supports monitor mode in the 2.4 GHz spectrum. I attempted to use it on the 5 GHz spectrum, but more testing and drivers are needed to get it to work. However, Panda assures me that it works on both 2.4 and 5 GHz networks.      When I tried to hack a 2.4 GHz network I created using my phone’s hotspot, it worked, and I was so excited. Its range seems to be decent, as it is able to find the 2.4 GHz networks around me using the Kali WiFi hacking tools. However, there are not that many in my neighborhood. In conclusion, this antenna can do what I want it to do. I am in the process of attempting...

How Samsung OneUi 6.0 Protects Against OMG Cables

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article. Per Samsung Newsroom,       With the release of Samsung OneUi 6, Samsung introduced 'Samsung Auto Blocker' which can, "Auto Blocker has a range of additional controls, including turning on app security checks to help detect potential malware and prevent harmful commands and software installations by USB cable ." (Emphasis mine) Source: Samsung Newsroom      This will protect you from the O.M.G cable which can execute commands via the USB C cable. However, the user must have this app and the protection enabled for the tool to work. A malicious attacker could get physical access and turn the phone off or socially engineer you to get you to turn it off. Also, Message Guard is expanded, "Initially launched for messaging apps from Google and Samsung, it now can help protect users using popular third party apps," making messaging safer for all.  God Bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!!
