The Battle for Air Supremacy: Sky Warriors vs Metalstorm

Image
Users of powerful phones may want to push them with some air superiority battles on their devices. I compared two air battle games, Sky Warriors and Metalstorm, on Android using my S24 Ultra in Samsung Gaming Mode.     Sky warriors has interesting 2nd level game mode. It allows you to shoot blooms and ships (that are also shooting at you). While the graphics look good to me as well. In this mode the landscape changes, depending on when you play, so you can play in the snow, or on a volcano, or on just dry terrain. This does affect gameplay as the snow and smoke can can make flying harder. However the terrain is not really Useful, it is not affected by the weapons. At 120 fps and graphics on high mode, everything looks fine to me, and I did not see many frame drops.     Speaking of weapons, you get missile launchers that are unlimited but on a timer, protection from missiles, a radar to see the ships and blimps on the horizon. Another nice thi...

Amazing: Samsung Scannner DOES WHAT??!!

Image
AMAZING!!!      Samsung's built-in scanner automatically erases your finger from the document you're holding offline!        To scan a document, open the camera and hold the document out. A yellow icon will appear. Tap the yellow T icon, and it will scan and prompt you to click Save.        Notice in this document I scanned, there's a shadow (the blue circle) that's a bit blurry. That's not part of my document; the phone's software is erasing my finger! I hope you enjoyed this tidbit! God bless, and tech talk to you later!

Keys For Kids Radio ALEXA Issue!!

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article.      Popular Evangelical kids' radio station, Keys For Kids, is having a smart speaker issue. On our 2019 Echo Show, asking Alexa to play the station doesn't work. Hopefully, Keys For Kids Ministries can resolve this soon. In the meantime, here's a workaround for Alexa users with a touch display: Say, "Alexa, open Silk." Type in radio.keysforkids.com in the browser that appears. Press PLAY or you can select a prerecorded audio drama! To learn more about these programs, visit TheOdysseyBoi.blogspot.com .      Disclosure : TheTechBoy was interviewed on Keys For Kids Radio, has participated in their contests, and has a subscription to the Unlocked devotional. God bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!

The Spen Has A Problem

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special review.     Samsung's S Pen is a pivotal feature of the Galaxy S, Z, and Note series devices. I have been using mine on the S22 Ultra since I began using it in June. At the time of writing, it is September 2022. My S Pen barely works anymore.     I have used the S Pen for drawing, writing, controlling, scrolling, and text selection. Unfortunately, most of these actions use the pen's tip a lot, causing it to become loose. Unfortunately, my box did not include any spare tips (or perhaps I lost them), but nonetheless, I could not replace the tip.     The tip is now loose, and it makes drawing harder, and the accuracy is off. I have only had this phone for a few months. The pen is only 3 months old. Why is it losing accuracy? It only got broken on the back end (stepped on), but the front was fine. As a power user, this is unacceptable. God bless, and Tech Talk To You Later!!!

Samsung High-Resolution Mode Needs To Get Better!

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special review.  Yes I Know This Is Old      Samsung High-Resolution Mode Needs To Get Better!!!      Samsung's has 12, 50, and 200 MP  modes on its S24 Ultra. However, all the best features are locked to the 12 MP mode. For instance motion mode, which can be a huge help to capture scenes that you may have missed a few seconds of or the original photo is blurry due to Samsung’s shutter lag. Speaking of shutter lag, 200 MP mode can become overexposed and blurry; 50 MP can look better than the 12 MP mode but is slower.       Unfortunately, tools such as Portrait Mode, the new Live Effect mode, and even filters do not work on higher-resolution modes. Though filters can be applied in post-production. Samsung should also have a zoom option for its higher MP options as well. For instance, zooming in at 5x in 12 MP mode activates the dedicated zoom camera, while doing the same in 50 and 200 MP modes ju...

Finally!!! 3d Design on Android

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special review!      Finally!!! I found it. As many of you know, I’ve been on the hunt for a non-game app that works offline and fully utilizes the power of my Galaxy S24 Ultra—and I finally found one! I’ve often been critical of how most phone apps are basically web portals that don’t tap into the full processing potential of your $1000 device, but this app is different.      The app I’m talking about is Room Planner , and it’s fantastic. I wanted an application to create a 3D representation of the GNN studio from SSALTW , and this one did the job perfectly—and offline, too! Unlike basic floor planners, Room Planner offers detailed, good-looking 3D visuals. Here’s what you need to know: it’s a hefty app at around 600 MB, so make sure to download it over Wi-Fi unless you want to use up more than half a gig of mobile data. Fortunately, it seems to download all assets for offline use, so you can build your rooms in full 3D wit...

Can AI improve Rizz: Is Flirtify Any Good?

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a review.     I was scrolling there's an AI for that and saw this tool Flirtify AI . Flirting AI is a tool that allows you to input characteristics about someone and it will generate 5 pickup lines for said person.       As I'm not dating nor do I have any intent, (see like 1/2 of my podcast episodes, SSALTW , TheOdysseyBoi , the lines, and people are NOT based on real people. I asked ChatGPT to generate 5 people with different characteristics and ages to test and evaluate the lines.       Flirtify Ai is very simple. You select the gender of the person (good on the AI for only having 2 and not 30), age, input 3 interests, hobby, and a predefined thing that they are good at (like deep conversations).  These are the profiles of the people.                 Chloe Age : 22 Personality : Outgoing, loves soc...

How To Feed Answers Into A Headset With A Remote Mic

Image
How to feed answers into someone's ear with a Bluetooth headset. Have you ever wanted to communicate with someone stealthily? Well with a phone and a simple mobile application you can do this easily  1. Download Earspy     Pair your phone to the headset and open the mobile application. You DO NOT have to pay. Click the X on the top right when asked. 2.  Remote In     Remote into the headset by clicking the remote button in the top left. Now you can talk into the earpiece (within 30ft) and communicate (one way unfortunately) secretly.

HP Elite x360 Intel i7 13th gen 1st impressions

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with first impressions of the HP x360.  1. Good software      Windows 11 is really snappy on this machine and the great window snaps and multitasking functionality shines on this machine as well as the Windows 11 touch features. It feels a lot like multitasking on a Samsung phone and is better in almost every way. I want to see a window transparency setting like on Samsung phones though to bring even better capabilities to the device.  2. Uninspiring Build Quality      The build quality on this device is ok. Coming from a metal laptop the plastic is more creaky than what I'm used to and the keys are also louder than my Samsung Galaxy Book . The power button on the keyboard is ok but it's too close to the delete button for me. Also, the magnets for the stylus are not strong enough to keep the pen from falling off in a backpack. The screen also collects lots of fingerprints. The build quality is not bad though and it should...

How To Fix Windows Pin Disabled AND Hp Touchpad, Touchscreen, and Internet NOT WORKING

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special tutorial! Sometimes, updates and data transfer issues can disrupt your PC, and you might encounter problems with your internet connection. If your laptop disconnects from the internet and requires a Microsoft account sign-in, but you can’t connect to the internet to sign in, follow these steps to resolve the issue. You will need two things: a LAN adapter (if your laptop doesn’t have an Ethernet port) and a mouse. Steps to Fix the Issue: 1.  Connect Your Laptop to the Internet:    - Use an Ethernet cable to connect your laptop directly to your router.     - Plug in your keyboard and mouse.    - This should restore your internet connection, allowing you to sign in to your Microsoft account. 2.  Download the Necessary Drivers:    - Visit the HP support website and input your laptop's serial number (usually found at the bottom of the device or in the original packaging).    - A box will...

Snapchat Has A Problem: And Your Crush Is Not Madly In Love With You

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article.      Snapchat, the popular teen messaging application, has a huge problem. No its not tye unrealistic text stories, the terrible short-term videos of Livvy and baby gronk, people running around asking people questions at the mall, no it not any of that. It's the ad problem.                     The influencer is not affiliated with the scam.       Snapchat, in its short form video feed has advertisements. The only problem is that most of the ads prey on kids unrealistic dreams and expectations. The scam ad's feature tiktok and Instagram influencers sitting in a video while computer generated voice says that you can find pictures of your crush just by typing a 1st name and age. Obviously this is a scam and it directs to a link that is dead. However the scam doesn't stop there.     I did research and the same format is used in multiple scam ads. F...

Got Questions Gets Greatest Update EVER!!!

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article.     Let's gooooo! Got Questions, the greatest Christian website ever, has updated their mobile application to support offline usage with 7,000 articles downloaded to your phone.     Be sure to check the Play Store or App Store for updates to the Got Questions mobile application and open it once updated. It will take some time to download the articles, so while it does, take note of the new UI.      The random article picker is now located in the hamburger menu and is prominently featured on the main page. It finally doesn't crash after multiple clicks (think of it as the Christian version of TikTok scrolling). The main menus are large tiles, and if you want to search for something, it's just one tap away. Great application—keep up the good work, GQ! God bless, and Tech Talk to you later!

The BEST free math solver?

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article.      Applications and websites like Photomath and Mathway often operate on a freemium model, meaning you have to pay to access some features. However, Microsoft offers a free option that provides several features without any cost. The Microsoft Math Solver not only shows work but also includes a mode to scribble and can import pictures, all for free.      To get started, download the Microsoft Math Solver on your phone. Open the application and choose your preferred mode: scan, draw, or type. There's also some math games. This article will focus on how to use the draw feature and view step-by-step solutions.     Let's solve the equation 2x + 3 = 4. Draw this equation on the screen, and the application will recognize and display it. If you make a mistake, use the eraser at the bottom of the screen to correct it. Once the equation is correct, click the arrow to solve it, and the app will graph the an...
