How To Change Samsung News to Google News Feed.

Image
Sometimes you may want to change up your news feed. I like to set mine to Samsung News because I can access the Discover Feed from the Google app. But if you want a more native feel on your Samsung phone, you can do it in just a few simple steps. Go to your phone’s home screen and pinch in (or press on an empty area of the screen) like you’re about to change the wallpaper. Swipe right. This will bring up a setting that asks what you want on the media page. Select Google Discover and then press the home button. God bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!!

The Tech Behind: Immersive GameBox

Image
I went to an Immersive GameBox, which can best be described as a real-life version of the Adventures in Odyssey Room of Consequence. A video is coming out soon, but I got to take a high-tech look behind the scenes at the technology.      Essentially, the “box” is an empty room with four projectors. According to my game host, the projectors are Canon laser projectors hooked up to mini Windows 10/11 PCs that run the games. During the games, you interact with them through movement or touch. What I found interesting is that the walls themselves aren’t normal touchscreens—they function more like an external attachment that makes a MacBook touchscreen. However, this system uses four Lidar scanners, one for each wall, that detect your input and send a signal back. The pentagon-shaped sensors sit a few inches above each projected display. My game, The Floor Is Lava (based on the Netflix series), wasn’t super touch-heavy, but touch was still needed to access...

My Phone Got Hacked

Image
Oh no did Mi6 notes get leaked? Did the free state of the school collapse? Did GCAM War plans get leaked? Does Star Lords dream come true and my secret girlfriend get exposed??? No No and heck no. I hacked my own phone and I am going to show you how it can be done.       Hacking has this air about it where people gatekeep information because 1.) they are annoying Linux users and 2. 'security reasons' This leads to scenarios where people are very coy about what threats are out there, as well as flooding the internet with SEO packed, information light, articles. Thus I caused PentestGPT to hack my own phone.       I searched the database for remote Android hacks and one of the newest ones was the ES File Explorer 4.1.9.7.4 - Arbitrary File Read exploit. Essentially if you and your phone are on the same same WiFi network, and the phone is running ES File Explorer 4.1.9.7.4 (circa 2019) you should be able to access the phones ...

TELUS and Samsung Bring Canada’s First AI-Powered RIC

Image
September 22, 2025 – TELUS and Samsung have teamed up to deploy Canada’s first commercial Radio Access Network Intelligent Controller (RIC), a breakthrough that uses AI and automation to make networks smarter, faster, and more energy efficient. The RIC is part of the Open RAN (O-RAN) architecture and gives TELUS the ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize its wireless network in real time. With intelligent applications like anomaly detection, traffic prediction, load balancing, and energy savings, the technology will improve performance, cut costs, and reduce environmental impact. This rollout builds on TELUS and Samsung’s earlier work launching Canada’s first commercial virtualized and O-RAN network in 2024. Now, the two companies are taking the next step toward AI-powered, software-based networks that deliver greater flexibility and better service for customers. Samsung began delivering the software in mid-2025, and testing is ongoing across Canadian markets. The move highlights TE...

The Internet Has a Problem.

Image
Have you ever wanted to know how something worked? How cable TV works, how cellphones make calls, or really any questions where something can be sold? Maybe you want to know the tech behind broadcast news or satellite TV. Or, more notoriously, the solution can be sold: "how to make a computer virus," where the 'solution' is a VPN and strong antivirus technology.              In questions like these, you will not find detailed answers on websites. Maybe you will find some answers, yes, but all of these industries have blogs, blogs that are meant to sell their software or service. Unfortunately, the market is so saturated with these blog advertisements, essentially posts that give a small overview of the topic but mostly sell their service, that you can't find real information about it.       I was researching an article about the tech used in radio stations, and unfortunately, all I got were blog ar...

Convert Audio FREE OFFLINE

Image
Sometimes you may want to convert video to audio without having to rely on those scammy, ad-riddled mobile apps or web apps that only work online. I found this app that can do that easily.        The app is called Convertit, and what you need to do is first open the application and click the settings gear on the first screen. Next, click "convert video." This will open up a screen that allows you to select your videos, and then it will ask what audio format and bitrate you want it to be, as well as the speed. Next, click "convert," and the finished file will be under "library." You can use the share button and an external file manager to then save your recording.  God bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!

Top 6 Apps For Christian Teens + One Bonus One!!

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article.       1.   I really like Got Questions . Other than a few questions, I stand by everything said on that website. I have reviewed the mobile application here. However, teens may like the GQ website 412 teens, which has a more teen-centric feel, including questions teens may want to ask. They also have a Discord community as well as an Instagram following where you can ask questions.      2.    Keys for Kids Radio!! I was interviewed on the station, and while I may tease them about their devotionals being predictable from time to time, their radio dramas are great, and it's my favorite station to listen to. The app is available in the Play Store and the Apple App Store. For teens, they have devotionals under Unlocked, which is a separate application that goes into "deeper" topics... though still predictable 😅 3. Rayted.org Christian-branded modern alternative to Plugged In. Reviews media, ...

The GIANT SCAM Cyber Security Pros are hiding.

Image
As you guys may know, I am a huge fan of Adventures in Odyssey and high school stories. That's why I write for rayted.org and ssaltw. Adventures in Odyssey is what got me interested in computers, particularly cybersecurity, with Whit's End getting hacked way back in 1987 and Nicholas Adamsworth changing grades not once but twice. Campbell College's network was hacked in the Novacom saga with hidden cameras and dial-up modes and remote access; it was all so exciting. And back then, yes, you probably had to be scared someone would remotely access your computer; a grade-changing scheme was likely to happen, and you could remotely access a computer via dial-up.       I was reading Reddit once, and apparently, a student accessed the grade book, which was an Excel spreadsheet with network access. Another student was able to access a master copy of the software that remotely controlled and locked the student PCs and turned his into the control compute...

Activate One Handed Mode on Samsung

Image
One-handed mode can be a useful feature if you want to use a larger Samsung phone one-handed or have smaller hands.  1. Open settings and search for one-handed mode. 2. Go to advanced features and click the button that says one-handed mode, then scroll down and click it again. 3. Activate the toggle. You will be given two options: gesture or double tap. I recommend double tap. God bless and tech talk to you later!

How To Add Phone Effect To Motion Ninja

Image
Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special review.       In my videos, I use Motion Ninja to edit most of my short-form content. It’s a solid app, and I’ve been using the paid version ever since I did the news for my school. It’s pretty capable in what it can do. Starting today, I’ll be launching a series of tutorials on how to use the app. Since I’m on the paid version, I might have access to some paywalled features, but I’ll point that out when it happens. For today’s tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to add the phone effect to a video. You might’ve seen me use this effect in the video where I talked about the Snap Score being higher than the U.S. national debt. In that clip, you could see the phone pop up on screen. Here’s how you can do a basic version of that effect yourself. Click the plus (+) icon and import your video. Tap the clip and hit Edit . Next, click the FX icon and search for “phone.” Unfortunately, there aren’t many options—just what lo...

Squarespace Failed Me

Image
On last Tuesday, the site went dark. Completely offline. And the reason? Squarespace messed up. This wasn’t just a small glitch. It was a massive failure, and it makes no sense at all.      I launched this site back in July 2020. At the time, Google Domains was still alive and working perfectly with Google Blogspot. I paid twelve dollars a year for my domain, renewed it without a problem, and in 2023 I even put it on auto-renew so I wouldn’t have to worry about it again. It was simple, easy, and reliable. Then Google decided to shut down Google Domains and move everything to Squarespace. Annoying, but fine. The site stayed up through 2023 and 2024 without issue. Fast forward to 2025. I tried to visit the site It loaded slowly and then failed completely. When I checked my account, I was shocked to see that Squarespace claimed my domain had expired. But here’s the problem: my account clearly showed that the domain didn’t expire until August 2026. August....

TEEN 1st: TheTechBoy Media Makes Its Biggest Teen Centric Push Yet

Image
TheTechBoy Media Is Growing — And We Want Teens Involved      Teen media is dying out — and that’s exactly why we’re bringing it back. At TheTechBoy Media, we’re building a teen-centered brand that isn’t just “content for teens” but content by teens. Clean, real, and actually relatable. (We’re looking for new teen writers and reviewers, so if you love pop culture, this is your chance to get published!) Teens Ask Teens — a video series where students talk honestly about school, culture, and life online. High School Election Simulator — an interactive tool that helps student council hopefuls run smarter campaigns. SSALTW series — original teen novels that take school politics to the next level. Advocacy work — including pushing back against the Texas cellphone ban. Now we’re taking the next step with This Week in TheTechBoy Podcast. The show already co...
