The AI haters were right.

Image
Sike!!      Anyway, AI does accentuate a problem that we have already had online, which is lost historical knowledge. Whenever a new technology like AI breaks through, as in 2022, the internet collectively forgets how something was done pre-ChatGPT and generative AI. We see this with smartphones as well, with the internet largely forgetting you could text to Google, that there were multiple phone OSes, and even dumbphones had apps on them, laptops had built-in modems, non-internet-based comm tech, etc.       When I was growing up and still today, the answer to most things was "computer," as in "how did they do that 'computer'?" "how did that graphic work 'computer'?" But I never learned what those programs were. I never really learned how people did stuff on the computer, and now with AI, that will be the answer. In 2025, you could probably use AI instead of CGI to make a movie, and more companies will do that, but now, like all the featur...

Hot Take: Ads are cool.

Image
Hot take here, but I don't really care about ads. People on the internet constantly complain that there are ads in everything; they whine about the 'unskippable' ads on YouTube. In my opinion, YouTube is the best free streaming service in the world, despite their biases. It's better than Rumble, it's better than Odysee, it's better than Vimeo, or any other alt-tech platform. YouTube stores and hosts petabytes of data, supports livestreams, has a growing short-form platform, and you get all of that for a one-minute ad in a video? Is it really that horrible that you have to use an ad block or some third-party client and whine on Reddit about how Google is so horrible? Why don't you run a UGC (User-Generated Content) streaming service and get back to me on how you expect to make money?      Ads in streaming to reduce prices are, in my opinion, good. We paid money for cable/satellite TV and still got ads, and now we are whining that there are ads in streami...

How to get Photoshop Liquify on Android

Image
For years, Adobe Photoshop has offered a powerful and transformative tool known as the Liquify option. This feature allows users to push, pull, rotate, reflect, pucker, and bloat pixels in an image, commonly used to subtly—or dramatically—change body shapes, enhance features, or creatively warp a background for artistic effect. Its ability to create these fluid, organic adjustments has made it an indispensable part of high-end image editing.        However, advanced photo editing functionality like this is often missing in standard, built-in Android image editors. Fortunately, dedicated third-party applications have bridged this gap. One notable example is the Toolwiz photo editor, which includes a feature that mirrors the precise, pixel-manipulating power of Liquify.        To access this powerful functionality within Toolwiz, users must first download the app and navigate to the "Pro Image Editing" section, whi...

I DO NOT CARE

Image
I don’t care.      There has been a trend on the internet to hate AI. And most of the time, more often than not, the people doing it are just annoying—watermelon-flag-in-their-name, “quote-unquote” artists who are mad that their job drawing figures on DeviantArt is dead. Sometimes people try to get philosophical about it, saying the “heart” and “soul” behind a project are gone because AI was used, and that it’s not truly creative. Here is my message to these people: I don’t give a crap.      Quite frankly, I do not care. AI has made me more productive, and I don’t care about the message behind a book or TV show. I care if it is good. If it’s fun to look at. Are the lines good? That’s why I like Zoey 101 even though they had some CGI in it (Quinn’s weapons), and that’s why I did not like Saturdays —because it was boring as heck. What even was that show? I care about the quality of a show or a book. Is it fun to read? Yes or no? If yes, then I like it. I ...

Encarta vs WorldBook vs Britannica

Image
The death of multimedia software has been the worst thing to happen to computing. Now our hyper-powerful phones and computers cannot access information without needing a connection to the internet, essentially rendering them useless. However, in the old days, multimedia software was at its peak. One of the most common uses of multimedia software were encyclopedia programs. I have collected three of them, finding the most recent version—my personal favorite Microsoft’s Encarta (2009), World Book (2013), and Britannica (2015). Now, two of these encyclopedias still exist: World Book in print form and Britannica in subscription form but only online. I don’t understand why they can’t sell a digital offline copy now, but I digress.      This comparison will cover two things: the articles on certain topics that I am familiar with—U.S. and technology history—and I will be comparing them for accuracy as well as how in-depth they are. Multimedia features, essen...

Samsung's Battery Needs To Get Better

Image
Samsung needs to get better. The OnePlus 15 just dropped, and it has a 7300 mAh battery—over 2000 mAh more than Samsung’s latest and greatest flagship, the S25 Ultra. And while reviews say the S25 Ultra can last a day and a half, my S24 Ultra struggles to make it through a full day . Meanwhile, OnePlus’ flagship lasts almost two and a half days according to Mr. Mobile’s testing, which included extreme use with hotspots and GPS. And look: while OnePlus keeps a slim frame by using a silicon carbon battery, I honestly don’t care if Samsung wants to stick with lithium-ion and make the phone thicker. I use a 10,000 mAh case every day , and it’s fine. This is Samsung’s Ultra —if you want a thin phone, get an Edge or Plus model. The Ultra should have a massive battery, period.      The phone itself has basically peaked. The cameras are good enough for most people. AI will mostly live in the cloud unless you want to destroy the battery. Call quality, apps, g...

This Is the BEST Feature on Android

Image
There’s so much content on the Internet that sometimes you don’t even know what to read or watch. That’s why I like this feature on my Samsung device — and it should be supported on all Android devices, though I haven't tested it. It’s the Google Play Store widget .      This widget can recommend movies and TV shows, not just from paid services or Google Play downloads, but from free platforms too. It has suggested movies like Sleepover or Saved by the Bell —stuff I actually enjoy. It also shows trending podcasts, shows, and sometimes even YouTube videos right on the home screen, and most of the time the recommendations are spot-on. Its killer feature is definitely the sidebar. Tapping Read will show book recommendations in the Play Store (which aren’t always great, to be honest), but it also displays all your reading apps like Libby and Kindle in a clean, Pixel-themed bar at the bottom of the screen. It does the same for games—showing instant games and simple Play Sto...

What On Earth Is This

Image
Apple could make a 200 dollar sock and people would buy it. Whatever the heck is this? Literally, what in tarnation is this? This is a 150-dollar carrying sock for your premium iPhone (iPhone 16e), not supported, of course. And it looks ridiculous. 150-230 depending on the design you get from a bright-colored sock? Honestly, anyone who buys this should not be allowed to vote. This is ridiculous. God bless and tech talk to you later!!

How To Import Fonts On Motion Ninja

Image
Motion Ninja is one of the most fully-featured video editors available on mobile devices. Today, I will show you how to import a custom font into the application. First, make sure your desired font is downloaded and extracted (unzipped) onto your device. Next, open Motion Ninja, start a project, and tap Text . Tap Add Font . You will see plenty of pre-built fonts, but to import your own, tap the Local tab. Press the plus icon (+) in the corner. You will need to browse your device's folders to find the font file. Once you locate the unzipped folder, click on the .OTF or .TTF file to select it. The font is now imported and ready to use in your video text! You won't need to re-import it again; just go back to the Local tab whenever you need to use it. God bless, and Tech Talk to you later!

How To Fix Notification Shade On Samsung

Image
One UI 7 launched with a split notification shade. Here is how you can revert back to the old system. Swipe down twice to get access to the quick panel settings (or swipe on the left side of the camera). Then click the pen icon on the right side of the screen and click panel settings. Then click "tighter." This will combine your notification and quick settings shade. God bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!!

How I Created a Custom Wiki About Myself

Image
NotebookLM is finally working for me again! With over 100 videos transcribed by YouTube across multiple channels, I decided it was time to create a personal wiki about myself and my views. NotebookLM is great for this, but manually importing each video would be tedious and time-consuming. So, I used the YouTube to NotebookLM extension (linked here) to automate the process.      Simply navigate to your YouTube channel or playlist and click the “NotebookLM” button. This automatically sends all the videos to your NotebookLM notebook. Free users can upload up to 50 sources, while paid users can have up to 300. Thankfully, Google offers a 14-day free trial—which you can cancel after creating your wiki.      NotebookLM can generate mind maps, but I found that feature a bit lacking. Instead, I prompted it to “create a wiki” and asked for as much detail as possible. The first draft it produced was surprisingly solid—about 97% accurat...

How To Harness The Power of 67 To Make Anonymous Calls!!!

Image
The 67 meme is sweeping the internet, and while nobody knows what it means, it can be used for espionage. Perhaps you need to call someone semi-anonymously, or want to prank your friends, or gather intel. Before I show you, be sure to follow all applicable laws and regulations, and note that this can be traced by the network should the police or the feds get involved.      Step one: Find the number you seek and copy it into the phone. Then type *67 at the beginning of the number and dial. On Samsung phones, you can record the call (it will give a notification to the caller, though), so use Talker ACR if you want to secretly record it. Dialing *67 will make the number show up as a “private number,” so they won't know who is calling. If you do record the call, remember that you must notify them if you live in a two-party state. The great state of Texas is one-party, so it's completely legal. God bless and tech talk to you later!!! 67!!!
