Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a news update.       The Pixel 8 series is tipped to have 5 years of software updates. This would improve the software updates the Pixel 7 series gets by two years!!! This would also cause Google to leapfrog Samsung's update strategy by one year.       I believe that if this is true (we will find out on October 4th per Tech Oyssey) Samsung will quickly give its phones 5 yrs of software updates. Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special article. TileRec sent me "the world's slimmest voice recorder" for review.      The model they sent me was a voice-activated 8GB model. The box it came in contains a charger/data transfer cable, a USB-C adapter to connect it to an Android device, and the TileRec itself. It also comes with a string you can use to attach it to your wrist.  The device is really slim and has curved edges. The setup is easy too; just connect it to your phone/computer and edit the text file to set up the timestamp, light settings, and voice-activated mode.      This recorder has 2 modes: an always-on mode and a voice-activated mode. According to TileRec, the battery lasts 30 hours in voice-activated mode (and it activates at 45dB). I tested it, and it seemed to be able to pick up background noise like a fan or me humming and scratching. Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special tutorial.     Recent updates to Android have made the filestystem weird and mad it hard to export the KML files. The remedy to this is using the files application, X-plore. First go to the hamburger menue and go to database. Then click export as a KML. On recent Android phones a share menue will come up. Second, click the X-Plore icon. This will open the application. Create a new folder and put the files in there. Lastly, wait a few seconds and go to your regular files application. Click the KML file and you can open it in Google Earth. 

Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special tech update      Samsung phones now has the ability to split screen the same application. You can even drag an application from the edge panel can drag the same application to the center of the page to open the same application thrice.    However, you can do the edge panel Again meaning you can open the same application again!!! This is an amazing productivity tool because you can open multiple browser tabs. Unfortunately, some applications, such as YouTube cannot be opened twice. God Bless and Tech Talk To You Later!!! 

Hello, this is TheTechBoy with a special post.       Did you know that Alexa Echo Shows have a built in browser? All you have to do is say, "Alexa, Open Silk." Then it will open the browser and you can type in a website. This meas you can listen to our podcast or even an Adventures in Odyssey episode.      However, the Browser on our Echo is very slow. Short Review: 3.5/5 For people with dyslexia/bad sight better software would be wanted      The Scanmarker reader is a scanner but for your books. This pen-shaped object scans text off a page and inputs it into your device. It is called a Reader  because it can also read the text aloud. You can even export the text into a word processor!! Secure Folder Is Having Issues with Chrome.       Chrome on the non-secure folder section of my phone.  When I open Chrome in the secure folder it opens Chrome in the nonsecure folder unless I disable Chrome in the non-secure folder. @googlechrome Your app keeps opening non secure folder chrome when I open it in Samsung Secure Folder. @SamMobiles @samsung — TheTechBoy ✝️ 🇺🇸 (@THETECHBOYorg) August 10, 2023      The only way to fix this issue is to disable the non-secure folder version for Chrome for now.
